Carmelo Anthony makes history

Carmelo Anthony became Team USA's all time leading Olympic scorer (293 points) last night with 31 points in a close win over Australia. Despite Anthony's historic performance, the U.S. trailed 54–49 at halftime before eventually winning, 98–88. The game was easily the closest one that Team USA has played so far, and it marked the first time they trailed at halftime since 2004. Because of the win, the focus was able to stay on Anthony, who broke the record with this shot in the first quarter:
